Manufacturing•Production About the Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Manager, Line Delivery to lead and oversee all inhouse logistics operations supporting Assembly production. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring sequenced parts are delivered safely, accurately, and on time to support uninterrupted high-volume automotive manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Just-in-Time (JIT) and Just-in-Sequence (JIS) logistics operations within a high-volume automotive assembly environment, along with proven leadership experience managing large multi-shift teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing automotive manufacturer focused on revolutionizing the electric pickup truck and rugged SUV marketplace. Key Responsibilities Build, develop, and manage the Inhouse Logistics Operations Team responsible for: Parts sequencing Line feeding Internal material flow Production support logistics for Assembly operations Lead a large operational workforce consisting of: Approximately 200 blue-collar employees across 3 shifts Around 20 logistics specialists and support staff Ensure uninterrupted production support by delivering sequenced parts safely, accurately, and on time to the production line Oversee and optimize: Line feeding operations Supermarkets and staging areas Internal transport systems including: Tuggers AGVs Forklifts Flow of full containers and empties Develop, implement, and improve logistics processes related to: Sequencing Material flow Internal transport Production supply strategies Plan and optimize: Tugger routes Material flow routes Internal transport concepts Ensure operational readiness and uptime of logistics equipment through: Emergency concepts Preventive maintenance programs Repair and recovery strategies Maintain and enforce all safety, environmental, and operational compliance standards Support recruiting, training, workforce planning, and performance management for both direct and outsourced personnel Coordinate annual and permanent inventory activities within the assigned operational area Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support production targets Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree required 10+ years of professional experience in logistics or production operations within the automotive industry 3+ years of leadership experience in an operational manufacturing environment Strong experience in high-volume automotive assembly operations Proven experience with: Just-in-Time (JIT) logistics Just-in-Sequence (JIS) delivery Line feeding operations Sequencing operations Internal material flow management Experience managing: Supermarkets and staging areas Internal transport systems Full container and empty container flow Demonstrated ability to lead large multi-shift teams of 200+ employees Strong process development and continuous improvement experience Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Experience Experience launching or scaling new automotive manufacturing operations Experience with AGV systems and advanced internal logistics automation Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies Experience developing logistics standards, SOPs, and operational workflows
