Manual Machinist

Apply now for an immediate call from Tanner! Job Description Join our team as a Manual Machinist where you will be responsible for setting up and operating manual mills and attachments. You will work with existing parts, create work holdings, and conduct advanced dimensional inspections. Your role will also involve designing and engineering fixtures and tooling, as well as understanding and interpreting blueprints to machine parts to precise specifications. Responsibilities Set up existing parts and create work holdings. Conduct advanced dimensional inspections. Select and set up fixtures and tooling for jobs. Design and engineer fixtures and tooling. Examine and understand prints to set up and operate manual mills and attachments. Perform basic GD&T understanding. Keep the supervisor informed of any actions that may affect job performance or company operations. Provide additional support as required. Essential Skills Proficiency in blueprint reading. Experience with manual mill machining. Basic understanding of GD&T. Ability to conduct advanced dimensional inspections. Experience with drill press operations. Troubleshooting and mechanical skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $70720.00/yr.
