Position Summary :

The Manufacturer/ Laborer supports roadway and site construction projects by manufacturing different paving products and packaging them. This role is responsible for assisting in manufacturing different products. Loading and unloading trucks with various liquid asphalt products.

Essential Functions :

The incumbent will be required to perform any or all of the following in a given day or week: Adheres to all safety rules and works safely on all jobs. Assist with the production on manufacturing different paving materials Perform daily equipment inspections Communicate with truck drivers and crew during loading operations Assist with maintenance and preventative maintenance Support other employees and drivers at the facility Maintain safe and clean work site Load and unload materials Assist operators, foreman, and mechanics as directed Report hazards, incidents, and equipment issues immediately Requirements Assist with the production on manufacturing different paving materials Perform daily equipment inspections Communicate with truck drivers and crew during loading operations Assist with maintenance and preventative maintenance Support other employees and drivers at the facility Maintain safe and clean work site Load and unload materials Assist operators, foreman, and mechanics as directed Report hazards, incidents, and equipment issues immediately Work Conditions Incumbent must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise level (PPE will be provided, including hearing protection as required), long hours standing, walking, and laboring outdoors in varying weather conditions - frequently in extreme heat. Employee may sit for an hour or more at a time.
