Manufacturing Associates - First Shift

FIRST SHIFT SCHEDULE ONLY - MONDAY TO THURSDAY WITH SOME FRIDAYS. NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS!

We're a family-owned, aluminum extrusion manufacturing company located in the heart of Summerville, South Carolina. We extrude, fabricate, anodize and powder coat aluminum parts for customers in a variety of industries. We've been in business for over 72 years and are committed to taking care of our team members, our customers and our community!

DUTIES:

We are currently hiring for full-time positions in our manufacturing facility. The duties for these position include: Racking aluminum extrusions in preparation for the anodizing and/or powder coat process. Un-racking the finish parts and inspecting parts for quality. Operating hand tools and power tools to cut, notch, punch and fabricate aluminum extrusions. Maintaining a clean and organized work area to support our 5S Program; and following applicable safety guidelines. Performing other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates should have, at least, 1-year of experience in manufacturing or related field. Must be able to work Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM and some Fridays from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Must be familiar with operating power tools (saw, lathe, etc.) - prior CNC experience is a big plus. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you will cross-train/work in different departments; and performing different manufacturing duties in the production area during your shift, or week, as needed. Must be able to perform the physical demands of the position, which include: walking, standing, bending, twisting and lifting up to 30 lbs. as needed; and be able to work in a non climate-controlled environment. Must be able to read work orders and be able to distinguish one product/color from another. Must be able to successfully complete the required pre-employment background check and drug screen.
