The Manufacturing Project Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, managing, and maintaining manufacturing projects for automated baby food manufacturing & packaging equipment, new equipment installations and continuous improvement as a part of the Engineering and Maintenance Technical team. Roles & Responsibilities
  • Enforce hygiene and safety rules with all personnel and contractors
  • Assist with the engineering project portfolio
  • Plan and coordinate technical engineering initiatives
  • Coordinate installation of new equipment and appropriate utilities
  • Coordinate contractor work and performance for assigned projects
  • Assist in the development of new processes and projects as needed
  • Active contribution to site continuous improvement
  • Helps with studies and implementation project plans to improve production efficiencies and reduce manufacturing costs.
Requirements:
  • Must have food and beverage experience
  • Must have CAD experience with managing mechanical drawings, P&ID's, and layouts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong analytical mindset
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Must be self-motivated Experience & training:
  • Bachelor's in engineering required
  • 5-10 years' experience in manufacturing or project engineering role is required
  • Experience on the shop floor of food industry for cooking, filling and/or packing lines is highly desired.
  • Experience in a highly automated environment
  • Fluent in
English Soft Skills:
  • Display and work with guiding principles to include Integrity, Team Work, Professionalism, Innovation, Transparency, & Accountability.
  • Strong and effective communicator.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills
  • Safety & quality conscious and able to lead by example
