Mossville, IL (Fully Onsite) ? $52-54/hr (W2 only) ? 24-Month Contract-option to go internal or convert EPITEC is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer 5 to support a well-known fortune 500 manufacturing company in Mossville, IL. This is a high-impact role bridging manufacturing operations and digital product teams , focused on improving production performance through digital tools and process optimization. ? Key Responsibilities Partner with IT and product teams to design and deploy digital manufacturing tools (OEE, analytics, connected systems) Translate shop floor processes into clear digital requirements and user stories Support Agile/DevOps workflows (Azure DevOps) including backlog refinement and delivery Identify process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and production efficiency Lead pilot implementations and validate solutions in live manufacturing environments Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, data, and leadership teams Align multi-site operations on standard processes and digital solutions ? Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field 10+ years of manufacturing/production experience (7+ with Master's) Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, process flows, and equipment behavior Experience working cross-functionally with IT or digital product teams Hands-on experience writing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria Familiarity with Agile and tools like Azure DevOps (or similar) ? Preferred Experience with digital manufacturing tools (MES, OEE, analytics, digital twins) Knowledge of manufacturing data systems (PLC, SCADA, etc.) Experience in multi-site manufacturing environments Exposure to DevOps or product lifecycle models ?
