Job Details We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to serve as a technical leader on the shop floor for our mechanical equipment refurbishment operation. Reporting directly to the operations leadership team, this independent professional will own the refurbishment processes end to end, driving lean implementation to deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, and productivity. Responsibilities Own and continuously improve refurbishment processes for commercial fluid systems and modular dispensing equipment. Design and implement scalable, repeatable production processes to optimize throughput and unit cost. Lead lean manufacturing initiatives on the floor, including 5S implementation, Kaizen events, and Kanban systems. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, yield losses, failure trends, and process variation. Drive root cause analysis for quality and reliability issues, executing durable corrective actions. Develop and maintain detailed work instructions, process documentation, and visual standards. Train, coach, and support production teams through standardized work and process changes. Partner with quality, supply chain, and operations teams to seamlessly transfer new product introductions to the floor. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical refurbishment environment with direct process ownership. Strong working knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, Kanban, and standard work. Self motivated problem solver with a strong bias for action, accountability, and minimal supervision. Comfortable working directly on the shop floor in a fast paced, hands on environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills paired with proficiency in data driven analysis tools.
