Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support our Components Manufacturing Department , responsible for producing precision-machined components used in high-performance fuel systems. This role focuses on improving manufacturing processes, supporting production operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume, precision manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for precision components Provide day-to-day engineering support to production operations within the Components Department Analyze manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for manufacturing issues Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and manufacturing standards Conduct time studies, process capability analysis, and workflow optimization Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality and production challenges Support equipment and tooling improvements to enhance manufacturing performance Assist with new product launches and manufacturing process validation Ensure processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and process improvement methodologies Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving tools Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to analyze production data and drive process improvements Preferred Qualifications Experience in precision machining or component manufacturing Experience in automotive, diesel, or fuel system manufacturing Knowledge of CNC machining, grinding, honing, or metal cutting processes Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience Experience supporting automated manufacturing environments Stanadyne is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, sex, gender, color, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status or any other protected class.
Pay:
