Provide engineering support to develop, direct, and implement the processes, methods, and equipment used in the manufacturing department to ensure the company product lines are manufactured in the most cost effective and timely manner while assuring the highest quality.RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage key projects in addition to supporting the manufacturing floor. Provide input and support to Product Engineering, the Manufacturing Process, and Design Upgrades for existing products, processes and equipment to improve quality, cost, and manufacturability. Develop and maintain accurate and detailed reports, routing, and methods to improve the manufacturing process. Interface and coordinate New Product Introduction and other key projects with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Production Control, etc. Determine root cause of problems in production which impact quality, reliability and safety and initiate proper corrective actions. Conduct special tests, and support test technicians, product assurance technicians, and inspection personnel to aid in their job functions. Support the evaluation of non-conforming material, in-house and from outside sources, and arrange for appropriate disposition and corrections.Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
BSEE/BSME/BSMechE and 5+ years' experience, or the equivalent of 10 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, with electronics background.Skills / Technical
Knowledge /Experience:
Working knowledge of mechanical assemblies, tooling, fixtures, tolerances, and assembly drawings. Requires knowledge of fabrication processes, material specification, and general industrial operations. Must be a business minded engineer to provide continuous improvements to products and processes. Must be proficient with program management tools and have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, tasks, and assignments at once. Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.PREFERABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must have an understanding of: Product/Project cost analysis, DFM/DFA - FMEA - SPC, Bill of Materials and Routings, product planning, scheduling and justification of required equipment and tooling. Must be able to develop process and assembly instructions that will ensure achieving product quality criteria and customer satisfaction.About us:

We are an established company with three locations in the USA, a presence in Europe, as well as a manufacturing operation in China.
