Manufacturing Laborer

Key Responsibilities:

Perform simple, repetitive hand and machine production tasks to safely and efficiently assemble or twist brushes made from various materials Cut and prepare fill material for use in brush assembly or twisting operations Spread and position fill material evenly between stem wires using guides or stops Twist and assemble brushes in varying order quantities and package them for shipment Obtain first-piece inspections and monitor work in process against quality standards Follow work instructions, safety protocols, and operating procedures for machine loading and adjustments Occasionally perform additional tasks such as attaching handles, ferrules, or couplings; threading stems; pulling springs; trimming ends; and shaping wire Record production data accurately and report any equipment issues, defective materials, or unusual conditions to the supervisor
