Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Manufacturing Powder Coat Manager to oversee all aspects of our powder coating operations within our manufacturing facility. This leadership role is essential in ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of powder-coated products. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for coordinating production activities, managing personnel, and implementing process enhancements to meet quality standards and delivery schedules. Duties Lead and manage the entire powder coating production process, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Develop and execute production plans utilizing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Monitor key performance indicators related to manufacturing efficiency, quality control, and supply chain logistics; implement corrective actions as necessary. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, enhance productivity, and streamline operations. Oversee inventory management, procurement, and supply chain analytics to ensure timely availability of materials and minimize downtime. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance and mechanical processes. Manage personnel including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations for the production team. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols across all manufacturing activities. Support process improvement projects by analyzing data trends and implementing best practices in manufacturing and assembly. Maintain detailed documentation of production procedures, quality standards, and operational reports for audits and management review. Requirements Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably with powder coating or finishing processes. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is essential. Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing techniques, process improvement, and supply chain management. Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Solid understanding of quality control standards and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing facilities. Experience with production planning, operations management, and supply chain analytics. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across departments including engineering, quality assurance, procurement, and logistics.
