Job Description

Madison Company, an AS9100 leader in liquid level technology is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. This role supports growth and lean process improvements for operations of custom-engineered sensor solutions. This position collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, and outside sources to meet customer requirements, cost targets, and production standards. Responsibilities and duties
  • A variety of engineering duties related to electro mechanical and electrical Circuit assembly. Manufacturing of Madison products and processes
  • Maintenance, design, improvement, development, testing and evaluation of related manufacturing processes and equipment. Research
  • materials, components, processes, technical solutions and related manufacturing technologies. Review and update
  • existing and new product manufacturing processes & documentation as required.
Provide technical support to manufacturing as required. Participate in design, product and process reviews. Monitor, investigate and determine root cause corrective action (RCCA) for equipment and processes with poor yield. Review RMA's and provide RCCA. Develop test procedures, QA processes and perform testing in support of manufacturing. Assist in driving continuous improvement projects, LEAN and 7S initiatives. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Education Requirements etc… BS in Mechanical or related Manufacturing disciplines or equivalent experience. Knowledge of electrical theory, PCB's and related components. Hands on Sustaining Engineering in similar manufacturing environment. (5-10 years) Hands on experience in a custom job shop environment (3-5 years) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of many assembly techniques used in electro-mechanical assemblies Ability to understand and explain complex technical information to non-technical individuals CAD modeling / drawing skills
  • Inventor knowledge a plus General Knowledge of Sensors, Magnets and Reed Switches a plus General knowledge of manufacturing processes including process automation, TIG and Ultrasonic Welding, CNC machining, Epoxies, Resins, fixtures, robotics and injection molding a plus Join a team where engineering, manufacturing, and innovation come together to build real products used around the world to Install Confidence.
