You translate strategic priorities into a crisp plan for the day, connect production, maintenance, shipping, and the tool room, and make sure every leader knows where to focus—safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Throughout the day, you remove bottlenecks, confirm schedules, and keep a steady cadence of KPIs so that performance is visible and wins are celebrated. As the Manufacturing Site Leader, you own the plant's results end-to-end and build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement. What You'll Own Full plant outcomes across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Daily operating rhythms—tiered meetings, KPI tracking, and clear accountability. Consistent leadership presence on the floor to drive engagement and alignment. How You'll Lead Coach and develop the Operations Manager and functional leaders; raise leadership capability across departments. Set expectations and hold leaders accountable for performance, behavior, and results. Align EPG, MTD, shipping, maintenance, and tool room to work as one system. Operational Command Oversee production flow, resource allocation, and schedule execution. Unblock cross-functional issues rapidly; partner with maintenance to maximize equipment uptime. Ensure shipping accuracy and on-time delivery. Continuous Improvement Lead Lean initiatives and process optimization across the plant. Use ERP data and KPIs to pinpoint waste and deploy corrective actions. Standardize processes to improve consistency, scalability, and ownership. Safety & Compliance Champion a safety-first culture; meet or exceed regulatory requirements. Partner with safety leadership to identify and mitigate risks proactively. Cross-Functional Partnership Work closely with engineering, quality, supply chain, and sales to meet customer commitments. Communicate plant performance, risks, and needs to the VP of Operations; serve as the escalation point for issues. People & Culture Build a culture of accountability and respect; apply policies consistently. Partner with HR to address employee relations and sustain team stability. How Success Is Measured On-time delivery, throughput, and efficiency Quality performance and defect reduction Equipment uptime and minimized downtime Safety performance and incident reduction Leadership effectiveness and bench strength Continuous improvement results What You Bring 7-10+ years leading in manufacturing with multi-department scope. Proven success leading through other leaders (beyond direct floor supervision). Deep familiarity with machining, assembly, and production operations. Background in maintenance, shipping, and support functions (preferred). Track record of driving accountability and elevating plant performance. Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement expertise. Strong problem solving and decision quality; fluent in ERP and production analytics. Bachelor's in Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience (preferred).
Work Conditions Work Environment:
Primarily on the manufacturing floor with exposure to industrial equipment, noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures; frequent engagement across production, shipping, tool room, and maintenance.Physical Demands:
Frequent standing and walking; navigation of production areas; occasional bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 25-50 pounds as needed).Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday; flexibility for extended hours, early mornings, or occasional weekends based on production needs.Travel:
