Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Construction Superintendent for a large-scale industrial manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for overseeing field operations, coordinating craft labor and trade partners, driving schedules, and ensuring safe, high-quality project execution within a fast-paced construction environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial or industrial construction with hands-on building experience and proven leadership managing field teams, site logistics, scheduling, and day-to-day operations within a manufacturing or prefabrication setting.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily construction activities, subcontractors, foremen, and craft labor onsite Drive project schedules, including short-term look-ahead planning Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, inspections, and site logistics Review drawings and construction documents to identify constructability issues and resolve field conflicts Lead site meetings, preconstruction planning, and safety initiatives Monitor productivity, quality, and project progress throughout execution Support hiring, training, mentoring, and development of field personnel Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and project requirements Collaborate closely with project leadership, engineering teams, and operations personnelQualifications:
8+ years of construction experience with supervisory or superintendent-level leadership experience Background in industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or prefabrication construction environments preferred Experience managing schedules, logistics, manpower planning, and field execution Ability to lead multiple crews and coordinate across several scopes of work Strong communication and leadership skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Familiarity with construction documents, project coordination, and field operations Proficient with Microsoft Office and general construction software/tools Trade background or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredAdditional Details:
