Manufacturing Technician
LOCATION
Denton, TX No Remote TYPE Direct Hire SALARY $70,000 - $85,000 / yr ID MS7-2754642 POSTED May 1, 2026 OVERVIEW Our client, a growing manufacturer in the power and data center infrastructure space, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician - Lean Support to assist with production optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on supporting Process and Manufacturing Engineering teams through data collection, time studies, and documentation, helping drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Collection & Analysis Conduct time studies, cycle time validation, and labor analysis Collect and track downtime, rework, and productivity data Organize data to support root cause analysis and process improvements Production Support Assist with line balancing and takt time validation Identify and document inefficiencies and waste on the production floor Escalate findings to engineering teams for corrective action Continuous Improvement Support 5S initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes Contribute to improving safety, efficiency, and first pass yield Documentation & Standardization Update SOPs, standardized work instructions, and process documentation Assist with maintaining training records and skills matrices Develop process sheets and visual documentation for production
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
SKILLS & TOOLS
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes Experience with process documentation and assembly layouts Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including tracking tools; macros a plus) Familiarity with ERP systems and AutoCAD preferred Experience with UL standards (UL508A, UL67, UL891) is a strong plus
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$70,000 - $85,000 base salary (Some Flexibility) Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.) Opportunities for growth within manufacturing and engineering teams
