Join North Alabama Cabinets as a Cabinet Sander, where your craftsmanship will shine! We are seeking a dedicated individual to help us create high-quality cabinets that our customers love. If you have a passion for woodworking and attention to detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
Sand cabinet surfaces to achieve a smooth finish, preparing them for staining and painting. Inspect and assess wood surfaces for imperfections, ensuring quality standards are met. Operate sanding machines and hand tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and specifications. Adhere to company policies and procedures for quality control and safety. Assist in the selection of appropriate materials and sanding techniques. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills Looking for someone who wants to be cross trained All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Previous experience in woodworking or cabinet making is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to operate sanding equipment and tools safely. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Knowledge of safety protocols in a woodworking environment. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
