We specialize in custom sun screens, window screens, security doors, patio enclosures, and related home comfort solutions that help customers reduce heat, improve energy efficiency, and enhance their homes. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, hands-on team member to join our shop as a Window Screen Builder / Fabrication Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to build a long-term trade skill in a growing local business. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically minded, works well independently and with a team, and values doing things the right way — not the rushed way. What You'll Do Build custom window screens, sun screens, screen doors, and related products with precision and consistency Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and specifications accurately Use tape measures precisely down to 1/16" increments Operate saws and fabrication tools to cut aluminum framing and materials safely and accurately Assist in building and maintaining assembly jigs and fabrication processes Collaborate directly with the owner and lead screen expert to produce high-quality finished products Help organize and manage screen material inventory, supplies, and shop workflow Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment Minimize material waste while maximizing productivity and craftsmanship Support continuous improvement ideas that help streamline production and efficiency Ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability Attention to detail and pride in quality work Ability to learn quickly and retain technical processes Comfortable working with tools, measurements, and light fabrication equipment Good communication and teamwork skills Self-motivated with the ability to stay productive independently Positive attitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade Preferred Experience Screen building, fabrication, aluminum work, carpentry, construction, manufacturing, or similar hands-on experience Experience operating saws and shop equipment safely Familiarity with home services or residential improvement work Inventory or shop organization experience is a plus Why Join Sonoran Sun Solutions?
