In this dynamic role, you will lead a team of skilled artisans, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, precision, and quality. Your expertise in woodworking, blueprint reading, and various construction techniques will drive the success of our bespoke projects, from initial concept to final installation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership abilities while working on diverse restoration, remodeling, and custom cabinetry projects that transform spaces with craftsmanship and attention to detail. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of cabinet makers and carpenters in all phases of custom cabinetry fabrication and installation. Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment to craft high-quality wood products. Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects within scope and budget. Perform construction estimating for cabinetry projects, including material take-offs and labor requirements. Ensure adherence to safety standards on construction sites and in workshop environments. Manage the assembly, installation, and finishing of cabinets, fixtures, doors, siding, and other woodwork components on-site or in-shop. Conduct quality control inspections to verify craftsmanship meets company standards and client expectations. Collaborate with clients, designers, and contractors to provide expert advice on materials, design options, and project feasibility. Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, materials used, and work performed for accurate reporting. Skills Extensive experience in woodworking, cabinetry fabrication, and installation with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, metal stud framing equipment, and other fabrication tools. Knowledge of construction estimating processes including material take-offs and cost analysis. Skilled in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, siding work, roofing basics, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering or stucco application as needed for comprehensive projects. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and experience working on various construction sites or restoration projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing physical demands of the role. Experience with water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus for specialized projects. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients effectively. Knowledge of electrical experience related to fixture wiring or electrical components within cabinetry is advantageous.
