Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Furniture and Cabinet Maker, where your craftsmanship will bring custom furniture pieces and cabinetry to life! In this role, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and installing high-quality woodwork that transforms spaces and elevates interiors. Your expertise in woodworking, plan reading, and various joinery techniques will be essential to delivering exceptional results. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to beautiful, functional environments. This is an entry level position. We don't expect you to perform all of these duties or have all of these qualifications on day 1. Some experience and a willingness and aptitude to learn will crucial.
Duties/responsibilities include:
Shop organization and cleanliness. Fabrication of parts to match designs. Assembly of products. Sanding and finishing of projects. Knowledge of proper shop safety techniques. Knowledge of proper operation of a wide variety of tools including: hand planes, bandsaws, drum sanders, lathes, drills, table saws, jointers, planers, miter saws, router tables, palm routers, track saws, CNCs and many more. Knowledge of proper modern and traditional joinery techniques: mortise and tenon, dovetails, sliding dovetails. Delivery and installation of products. Lifting heavy materials. Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately craft furniture and cabinetry. Qualifications Proven experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or furniture making within a construction or restoration environment. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; familiarity with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery is a plus. Proficient with hand tools (e.g., chisels, saws) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders) used in fabrication and installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling or installation tasks. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Join us in creating stunning woodwork that enhances living spaces! Install finished products on-site, including cabinet hanging, fixture installation, door hanging, and trim carpentry. Perform quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to meet project timelines and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
