DUTIES:
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements for proper installation of doors, cabinetry and moldings Willingness to follow Cabinetry Designer's instructions for proper installation of specific job Loads truck and performs quality checks of all parts and tools needed to complete installation Travels to commercial locations to perform complete custom installation projects within Southern CA and surrounding area Complete jobs Efficiently and Accurately
  • Produce high-quality work Ensure Customer is 100% Satisfied Ability to Communicate Effectively and Respectfully at all times Maintain a Clean, Safe and Organized Job site and Truck.
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction Ability to clearly communicate about issues that arise and provide possible resolutions Accurately measure, mark and cut hardwood and softwood lumber and panel products, including manufactured plywood, and apply laminates Proficient with woodworking machinery like table saws, panel saws, edge banders, shaper, wide belt sanders, jointer, drill press, and other small tools safely to build cabinetry and other projects Have working knowledge of safe and proper procedures of woodworking in accordance with local, state, and OSHA requirements Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times Conserves resources by using people, equipment and supplies efficiently to accomplish jobs Standing and physically engaged most of the day Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Articulate and open communication to peers and supervisor(s) a must! Willing to provide direction and share knowledge/skills with associate installers and willing to learn from others Mechanical skills: utilizes mechanical skills to work with a variety of tools and machines Proven ability to install cabinets as per the clients' and lead engineer's requirements and to fit interior spaces Good arithmetic skills; proficient with a tape measure Attention to detail Excellent teamwork and customer service skills Ability to work quickly and efficiently, meeting deadlines without sacrificing workmanship Punctual and highly reliable work history Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Experience:
Proven experience as carpenter with the special skills required for the installation of custom cabinetry, doors and frames. Door and Cabinet Installation (5+ years minimum)
Education:
High school or equivalent (preferred)
Transportation:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday, Saturday's and out of town as project permits Supplemental pay types: Overtime as needed Ability to commute: Per project
