Full-Time Position Summary Osburn Cabinets is seeking a Skilled Cabinet Maker to join our custom fabrication team. We are looking for a detail-oriented woodworker who takes pride in building high-quality, durable, and beautiful cabinetry. Whether you are an experienced lead builder or a rising talent in the trade, we value precision, a strong work ethic, and the ability to solve complex spatial puzzles.

Key ResponsibilitiesFabrication & Assembly Custom Construction:

Build custom cabinets, vanities, and built-ins from start to finish based on architectural drawings and cut lists.

Joinery Mastery:

Execute various joinery techniques (dovetails, mortise and tenon, pocket screws) to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.

Material Selection:

Select and prep premium hardwoods and veneers, ensuring grain matching and minimal waste.

Machinery Operation:

Safely and proficiently operate table saws, shapers, planers, jointers, and CNC machinery.

Finishing & Detail Work Sanding & Prepping:

Prepare surfaces for high-end finishes, ensuring all joints are flush and surfaces are defect-free.

Hardware Installation:

Install hinges, drawer slides, pulls, and specialized organizational inserts with 100% accuracy.

Quality Control:

Inspect every piece before it leaves the bench to ensure it meets Osburn's standards for fit and finish.

Required Qualifications Experience:

2+ years of professional cabinetry or high-end woodworking experience (for the $18-$22 range); 5+ years for Lead Maker consideration ($23-$28 range).

Technical Skills:

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and 3D renderings.

Mathematical Proficiency:

Strong shop math skills (fractions, decimals, and geometry).

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for 8-10 hours and lift 50-75 lbs regularly.

Reliability:

A "right-the-first-time" attitude and consistent attendance. Preferred Skills Experience with Laminates and Edge-banding . Familiarity with Cabinet Vision or other CAD/CAM software.
