Job Description For 20 years, Mountain Sky Closets & Garages has built a reputation for providing high-end custom storage solutions for discerning customers in Steamboat Springs, CO and surrounding areas. We design and install a complete line of custom closets, mudrooms, pantries and garage cabinetry. We're looking for a motivated, organized, caring individual who is passionate about providing outstanding craftsmanship and superior customer service. We have an opening for an experienced cabinet installer/carpenter. We are looking for individuals with carpentry skills who can work individually and on a team, and provide the highest customer service level. There is opportunity for advancement for the right candidate.
Job Summary:
Based on provided designs and materials, install custom storage systems and accessories using laminate wood, edge-banding, hardware, and other materials requiring your skills with hand and power tools. Our closets are high-quality, custom designed and require skilled finish work and critical thinking as we are in the luxury market. Training is provided.What We Offer :

Experienced Carpenter/ Cabinet Maker Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets and cabinets in homes and garages.
- Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
- Assist in the removal of existing cabinetry and patching & painting.
- Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order.
- Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations. Professional attire and communication.
- Maintain safety standards at all times.
- Responsible for driving to and from customer sites, in the company truck or your private vehicle.
- Safely maintain company-provided vehicles, trailers, tools, and other company equipment
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Carpenter/ Cabinet Maker Qualifications:
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Confident with standard hand and power tools
- Ability to measure and cut precisely
- Ability to do detailed finish work (silicone, trim work, adjusting drawer fronts)
- Ability to think through problems that occur during installation and come to supervisor with potential solutions
- Previous experience in carpentry, woodworking, cabinet or closet installation
- High level of customer service and professional communication
- Ability to work individually and in teams

Qualifications:
We value good character, positive attitude, willingness to learn and a strong work ethic. We are interested in also hearing from candidates who have less developed finish work skills but possess these characteristics and are interested in growing and developing their skills.Job Type:
