Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Designer/Admin to join our creative team. In this role, you will blend artistic vision with technical expertise to design beautiful, functional kitchen cabinets that meet clients' needs and preferences. You will also provide administrative support to ensure smooth project workflows, coordinate with vendors and clients, and assist in project management tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your interior design talents while contributing to the successful execution of remodeling and renovation projects. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, needs, and budget constraints for kitchen cabinetry projects. Create detailed 3D models and renderings using SketchUp, Revit, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), or AutoCAD to visualize cabinetry solutions. Prepare comprehensive project proposals, including material selections, color schemes based on color theory, lighting considerations, and layout plans. Manage project timelines, budgets, and contracts to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction through effective project management skills. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to source materials, confirm specifications, and oversee installation processes. Utilize Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop for drafting presentations, client revisions, and marketing materials. Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, specifications, drawings, and change orders while ensuring compliance with safety standards during renovation or construction phases. Skills Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (3ds Max), Adobe Photoshop, Bluebeam Revu, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and visualizations. Strong understanding of interior design principles with an emphasis on cabinetry layout, color theory, lighting design, and remodeling techniques. Experience in project management including budgeting, scheduling, contract review, and vendor coordination. Knowledge of CAD drafting standards combined with practical experience in construction or renovation environments. Ability to communicate effectively with clients to interpret their vision into actionable design plans. Familiarity with lighting sales and lighting design concepts relevant to kitchen spaces. Understanding of the remodeling process from initial concept through installation while ensuring quality control throughout each phase.
