Urgently Hiring! Overview Join our dynamic team as an Exhibit Installation Helper - General Hand! In this energetic role, you will assist in the setup, assembly, and installation of exhibits, displays, and fixtures across various venues. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help create engaging and visually stunning environments. Duties Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and installation of exhibit components using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate setup Handle heavy lifting and material transport safely across job sites Prepare surfaces by caulking, sanding, or applying finishing touches such as trim carpentry or drywall work Fabricate custom fixtures or structures as needed for specific exhibit requirements Support rebar installation, concrete forming, or masonry tasks during site preparation when required Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency throughout all phases of installation Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment including CNC machinery when applicable Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical instructions Experience with various carpentry disciplines such as framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, door hanging, and siding Knowledge of construction estimating and project planning fundamentals Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in diverse environments including restoration sites or manufacturing facilities Familiarity with water damage restoration, mold remediation, or roofing projects is a plus Skilled in working with materials like stucco, drywall, metal studs, tile, flooring, and water-resistant finishes Experience in fixture installation such as lighting fixtures or display cases within exhibit spaces Basic electrical experience for simple wiring or electrical fixture setup is advantageous Demonstrated ability to follow schematics or technical drawings accurately while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to visually impactful projects while honing your carpentry skills.
