$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Position Overview JL Closets, a leading custom closet and storage solutions company in Boca Raton, is seeking a Cabinet Shop Associate to support our manufacturing and production team. This position is ideal for someone with cabinet shop or woodworking experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and maintaining an organized work environment. This role offers opportunities for growth and increased responsibilities as skills and experience develop. Responsibilities Prepare and cut materials for production and installation projects Drill and machine cabinet components according to specifications Operate woodworking equipment, including edgebanders and sliding table saws Assemble drawer boxes and cabinet components Apply laminate and other finishing materials as required Load, move, and organize materials within the shop Operate a forklift (training provided if needed) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met Assist with inventory organization and material handling as needed Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a cabinet shop, woodworking, millwork, or related manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to safely lift and move materials, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to follow production drawings, measurements, and work instructions Reliable and dependable work ethic Preferred Qualifications Experience with inventory management or material control Forklift experience Spanish language skills Benefits Paid time off Opportunities for advancement and skill development Schedule Monday through Friday Day shift 8-hour shifts Work Location Boca Raton, FL (In Person) Applicants should be able to reliably commute to Boca Raton or plan to relocate before starting employment.
