$28 per hour / Contract /
On-Site Hours:
7am-3pm Responsibilities Perform strong carpentry work including framing, finish, and rough carpentry Build and install cabinetry and millwork, including custom woodwork Install flooring including hardwood, subfloor, and engineered wood Read blueprints and schematics to plan and execute carpentry projects accurately Take accurate measurements and perform precise material take-offs Calculate angles, cuts, and material requirements while minimizing waste Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools safely and precisely in a warehouse or industrial setting Solve problems and adjust builds when unexpected material or measurement issues arise, while staying on track and meeting deadlines Maintain attention to detail and deliver high-quality work while collaborating efficiently with team members and stakeholders Requirements Strong carpentry expertise including framing, finish, and rough carpentry, as well as cabinetry and millwork installation Highly proficient in using hand, power, and pneumatic tools Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate measurements Ability to execute precise material take-offs Solid mathematical background including basic geometry and trigonometry to calculate angles, cuts, and dimensions Ability to calculate material waste Physically capable and safety-focused, with stamina and manual dexterity Adherence to OSHA standards Working at heights (ladders, scaffolding) capability Attention to detail Problem-solving skills Time management Effective communication with clients and contractors Knowledge of building codes and regulations Knowledge of wood species and material properties Knowledge of joinery techniques Knowledge of adhesives, fasteners, and hardware System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
