Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Punch Technician / Cabinet Installer (Punch Work) to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing punch work including correcting defects, making minor repairs and ensuring cabinets are clean and functional and cabinet installation tasks that ensure the highest quality standards are met for residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision, craftsmanship, and efficiency, contributing to the successful completion of new construction and remodeling projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cabinetry and finishing work in a fast-paced environment that values safety, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Company phone, tools and vehicle are provided. Duties Conduct site inspections to identify areas requiring touch-up or correction during the finishing phase. Inspections should highlight defects, damage, or incomplete work that requires touch-up or corrections. Perform punch work on cabinets, including repair of scratches, dents, chips or finish imperfections. Replace or install missing components (hinges, handles, drawer slides) Touch-up finishes using stains, fillers or paint as needed Ensure cabinets open, close and function properly Perform adjustments to include aligning doors, drawers, hardware and crown molding. Clean cabinets and remove debris, stickers or protective coverings Document issues and communicate with installation, project management and customer service teams Install cabinets, fixtures, doors, and related hardware accurately according to blueprints, schematics, and project plans Use hand and power tools to assemble, adjust, and secure cabinetry components efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation Collaborate with carpenters, project managers, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve on-site issues Ensure all work meets or exceeds company and client quality standards. Assist with receipt and delivery of cabinets Skills Strong knowledge of cabinetry installation techniques including door hanging, fixture installation, and finishing work; carpentry and woodworking preferred Ability to perform minor finish work Proficiency and experience with hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes, drills and saws including table and chop saws Knowledge of cabinet hardware and materials Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation tasks Valid driver's license is required.
