Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Builder to join our team at an ambulance refurbishing company in Sanford, FL. This role is critical in rebuilding and installing high-quality cabinetry inside emergency vehicles. Candidates must have hands-on experience in woodworking, cabinetry, and precision assembly.
Responsibilities:
Build, assemble, and install custom cabinets for ambulance interiors Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials with accuracy Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely Repair or modify existing cabinetry as needed Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
Previous experience as a cabinet builder or similar woodworking role (REQUIRED) Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and techniques Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings High attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on vehicle interiors, RVs, or specialty builds Familiarity with laminate, veneers, and composite materials
