Job Title:
Carpenter Job Description This role focuses on woodworking and carpentry to support the construction and assembly of panels and display booth components. You will use both hand and power tools to build, install, and finish high-quality structures in a fast-paced shop environment. Responsibilities Assemble panels and display booth components using hand and power tools. Perform woodworking tasks, including cabinet making, carpentry, and laminate work. Support new home construction and remodeling style projects as they relate to display and booth construction. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to complete framing and installations accurately. Measure, cut, and fit materials using tape measures and other measuring tools. Perform finish carpentry and cabinetry work to achieve a high-quality final appearance. Install and secure components, fixtures, and structures according to specifications. Operate hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, and screwdrivers safely and effectively. Operate power tools such as power drills and air guns safely and effectively. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while meeting production deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills Proven experience in woodworking, specifically in cabinet making or carpentry. Hands-on experience with laminate work and construction or remodeling projects. Ability to assemble panels and display booth components using hand and power tools. Proficiency with hand tools, including hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and similar equipment. Proficiency with power tools, including power drills, air guns, and related equipment. Capability to read and follow blueprints and construction drawings. Strong carpentry skills in framing, installation, and finish work. Ability to accurately use a tape measure and perform precise measurements. Must provide and use personal carpentry tools appropriate for the work. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in cabinetry and finish carpentry in a shop or construction environment. Experience constructing, installing, or remodeling wood structures and fixtures. Comfort working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented production setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to collaborate with a team of shop employees to complete projects on time. Why Work Here? The dress code requires long pants and steel-toe footwear to support a safe and professional work setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austell, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
