Job Description:

A leading workplace solutions and commercial interiors organization is seeking a Lead Installer to oversee installation projects and guide field teams across customer sites in the Des Moines area. This role is ideal for someone who excels in coordination, hands-on installation work, and leading others to deliver high-quality results. -Key Responsibilities Lead installation projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to plans. Coordinate daily tasks for installation crews and provide on-site direction and support. Install commercial furniture systems, architectural products, and related components. Read and interpret floorplans, drawings, and installation documents. Communicate with project managers, designers, and customers to ensure smooth execution. Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and safety compliance. Train and mentor installers to build skills and maintain performance standards. Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and safe working condition. -Qualifications Experience leading installation teams in commercial interiors, construction, or related fields. Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to read and follow technical drawings, floorplans, and installation instructions. Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Ability to lift, move, and assemble products in a physically active environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
