Fireplace Installer/ Carpentar Hearth and Home Solutions North Liberty, IA Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Carpentry Frame carpentry experience (1-2 years) Renovation Building code compliance Power tools for woodworking Remodeling Carpentry experience (1-2 years) Door hanging Mid-level Cabinet installation Driver's License Glass installation Blueprint reading Fixture installation Construction Metal stud framing Frame carpentry Hand tools Full Job Description Install gas and wood burning fireplaces (this may be retrofitting an existing fireplace or adding a fireplace to an existing or new home) Read drawings and manufacturers manuals regarding the proper installation Build structures using wood and steel studs specifications Use multiple power and hand tools proficiently Install fireplace vent/piping materials Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work Installing cabinets, shelving, and insulation Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job Liaising with clients, suppliers and other construction professionals Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations
