Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Builder to join our team. A Cabinet Builder is responsible for the fabrication of cabinet casework and face frames from processed sheet stock and raw lumber. Cabinet Builders are also responsible for the special projects section, sanding, hardware, and field work as needed. Duties Assist foreman with box assembly and face frame application. Follow standard woodworking procedures and work with woodworking machinery, tools, and techniques. Follow standard safety procedures for a woodworking and carpentry shop. Load cabinets and other finished projects into a truck or trailer for delivery to the customer. Unload and assist with installation of cabinets or other finished projects onto jobsites. Maintain an orderly and neat work environment on job sites and in the shop. Maintain and ensure all shop tools are working safely and properly, including oiling tools and machines, replacing blades, and clearing machines of sawdust. Record projects and time on T-Sheet software using your cell phone. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. This position will require the ability to learn quickly, maintain quality control, ability to learn skills throughout the wood shop such as face frame cutting, assembly and application, CNC operator, jump saw operator, special projects as assigned and approved by shop foreman and Isaac Wright. Skills High school degree or GED required, trade school certificate or field experience preferred. Familiarity with woodworking machinery, tools, and techniques. Basic math skills, using tape measure, speed square, reading and comprehending instructions and dimensions. Self-initiating person who can prioritize and possesses good problem-solving skills. Able to understand verbal and written instructions and envision all steps in assigned tasks. Possess time and stress management skills. Composed under multiple demands. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift to 100lbs and perform a variety of physically demanding activities.
