JCC Blasting & Dryflux Job Overview:

This position consists of running a blasting cabinet effectively. Blasting media will vary by cabinet. This position is responsible for blasting surfaces of different components to remove the original finish such as paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt. Then in Dryflux part of the position the Associate will check for cracks and holes and identify various non-conforming defects.

Basic computer skills. Attention to detail. Strong hand dexterity. Ability to work at a fast pace. Problem solving skills.

Schedule:

Monday

• Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Overtime Qualifications:

The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 40 lbs. The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx.…8-10 hours) The ability to use handheld tools such as gauging equipment, grinders, sanders, air tools etc.
