Job Description
Manufacturing finishing role focused on final inspection, product finishing, minor assembly, rework, and customer specification completion. Job Requirements Ability to perform final visual inspections Ability to identify defects, flaws, and non-conformances Hand tool and power tool proficiency Measuring instrument experience, including tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and gauges Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and instructions Ability to operate finishing equipment Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel toe boots Manufacturing environment experience Preferred Skills Manufacturing experience Production experience Finishing experience Forklift experience Scissor lift experience Heat shrink tool experience Band saw experience Paint touch-up experience Caulking experience Door and hardware installation experience Responsibilities Perform final visual inspections to identify defects, flaws, and non-conformances Remove excess material and debris using brooms, vacuums, air wands, grinders, sanders, and brushes Install liners, covers, and customer-requested wraps Caulk seams, drip shields, wall openings, door openings, and thresholds Install doors and hardware Verify door and hardware fit and function against customer specifications Perform minor assembly and rework Complete paint touch-up work Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, heat shrink tools, band saws, and power tools Complete product finishing tasks in a manufacturing environment
