Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Renovation Specialist to lead and execute a wide range of renovation projects. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship, precise planning, and efficient project management. Your expertise will ensure high-quality results that meet client specifications and safety standards. Duties Plan, coordinate, and oversee renovation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget. Conduct thorough construction inspections to verify adherence to blueprints, schematics, and safety regulations. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, roofing, masonry, and concrete finishing. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements. Perform specialized work including plumbing, electrical installations, plastering, stucco application, glass installation, cabinet mounting, tile laying, and trim carpentry. Manage construction estimating processes to accurately forecast costs and materials needed for each project phase. Ensure quality control by inspecting work sites regularly and coordinating with team members to address any issues promptly. Operate heavy machinery safely during restoration or hardscape projects while adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with clients and team members to develop creative solutions for remodeling or renovation challenges. Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in renovation or remodeling projects. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Hands-on experience with a variety of construction trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, stucco application, welding, concrete forming/finishing, and glass or cabinet installation. Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review and project documentation. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of construction inspection procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations. Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
