Job Description

Cabinet Builder About Us The Olde Mill in Baton Rouge is expanding and seeking a full-time Cabinet Builder. This position will work with a team to produce custom wood products. Basic woodworking skills and knowledge of shop tools, saws, and safety protocol are a plus. We primarily build high end cabinets, ceiling beams, mantels, and shelves for custom homes. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work alongside other team members, and ensuring that the quality expectations of our products are met. Working hours are 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with half days on Friday.

  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
  • Experience in construction and carpentry work
  • Knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with trim carpentry and frame carpentry techniques
Responsibilities:
Build custom cabinets and other wood products. Operate and maintain shop tools and equipment. Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment. Work collaboratively with the team to meet production goals. Maintain high-quality standards in all projects.
Preferred Experience:
1 year of woodworking experience. 1 year of cabinetry experience. 1 year of trim work experience.
