Skilled Cabinet Maker Custom Woodwork and Assembly

Overview Gamboa's Custom Woodwork is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to support our custom woodshop operations in Hagerstown, MD. This position focuses on high-end custom cabinetry and detailed woodworking projects requiring craftsmanship, precision, and pride in the finished product. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a woodworking or cabinet shop environment and be comfortable reading blueprints, operating woodworking equipment, and building custom pieces to tight tolerances. Duties Build and assemble custom cabinetry, fixtures, and wood components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and shop specifications Operate woodworking equipment including table saws, routers, planers, sanders, and related shop tools Measure, cut, shape, and finish wood materials accurately Perform cabinet assembly, sanding, fitting, and finishing work Install hardware and assist with final assembly as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met Work closely with team members to complete projects on schedule. Experience 3+ years of experience in cabinet making, millwork, woodworking, or related trades preferred Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship mindset Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings/specifications Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with custom or high-end woodworking projects preferred Finishing experience (staining, painting, sealing) is a plus Strong work ethic and reliability required.

Pay:

$22.00 - $34.00 per hour
