Renovation Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Renovation Specialist to lead and execute comprehensive renovation projects across various properties. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate renovation projects from initial assessment through completion, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Perform detailed construction inspections to ensure work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Utilize blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately interpret project requirements and execute tasks effectively. Operate a variety of power tools and hand tools for tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, masonry, and carpentry. Conduct construction estimating to determine project costs accurately and assist in budget management. Oversee subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials such as glass, cabinetry, roofing materials, stucco, and other building components. Execute specialized tasks including concrete finishing, plastering, caulking, welding, fabrication, restoration work, heavy equipment operation, and hardscape installation. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized job site. Collaborate with clients and team members to communicate project progress and address any issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management or renovation projects with a strong background in construction site operations. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Hands-on experience with a wide range of construction trades such as carpentry (including trim carpentry), roofing, masonry, framing, drywall installation (including door hanging), flooring installation (including tile), glass installation, cabinet installation, plastering, stucco application, concrete forming/finishing, welding, painting, restoration work, hardscape design, masonry work, and demolition. Proficiency with bluebeam or similar digital markup tools preferred. Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus. Knowledge of plumbing systems and electrical wiring basics is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction schematics and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively.
