Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced woodworker/ cabinet Builder to join our team. As a woodworker/ cabinet builder, you will be responsible for operating various power tools, hand tools, and other machinery to facilitate the fabrication process. This is a position that utilizes trim carpentry type skills and the ability to read blueprints. The ability to deliver and install over long distances is a plus, with the opportunity for additional compensation.Responsibilities:
- Operate power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders to cut and shape materials
- Use hand tools to assemble and fasten parts
- Operate machinery such as CNC machines to machine various materials
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cabinet building or woodworking
- Previous experience working with power tools and hand tools in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Experience operating forklifts is preferred
- Familiarity with machining processes and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic programming skills for CNC machines is a plus, but we will train
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
