Lead Sign Maker/Designer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and creative Lead Sign Maker/Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and craftsmanship, with the ability to create high-quality signage that meets client specifications. This role involves working with various materials and techniques to produce signs that are both functional and visually appealing. The Lead Sign Maker will play a crucial role in enhancing brand visibility for our clients through innovative sign solutions. Responsibilities Design and fabricate a variety of signs, vehicle graphics, interior and exterior signage. Operate tools and equipment such as plotter, latex printer, laminator, and substrate cutter to produce signage. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert recommendations on materials and designs. Prepare surfaces for sign application by cleaning, sanding, or priming as necessary. Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to company policies regarding safety and quality control. Ability to create and install vehicle graphics and wraps a huge plus. Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in sign making and vinyl graphics is required. Proficiency in using design software such as Adobe Illustrator is required. Familiarity with various sign-making materials including vinyl, wood, metal, and acrylic. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during installation tasks. A valid driver's license may be required for travel to installation sites. Knowledge of electrical components related to illuminated signage is advantageous.
