Job Description

Do you have a keen eye for detail and also take pride in your craftsmanship? JB Woodworks is looking for a skilled Cabinet Installer or someone that is interested in mastering this new skill to join our team. As a custom cabinet installer we partner with local cabinet shops, home builders and remodelers to deliver professional installation services. Join us in creating stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces that bring our clients' visions to life. This is not framing or general construction, we are measuring to the 16th of an inch and focus on precision. We also offer on the job training, if this is an area that's new to you.
Daily Responsibilities:
Install custom, euro, face frame (all types) of cabinets, plus wood tops and floating shelves in kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, bars, etc. Work from CAD/designer drawings to ensure accurate installation Utilize handheld power tools, finishing techniques, and woodworking skills Collaborate with team members on projects. Ensure quality and precision in all installations Consistently lift or move heavy objects
Required Skills:
Proficiency in using and own your own hand held power tools. Strong work ethic and reliability. We pay by the project and your efficiency (unlimted earning potential as 1099 contractor), unless you are looking to be an employee (then salary) Dependability and professionalism. Have Skills:
Experience in remodeling and carpentry projects Trade school degree Experience in finish carpentry and cabinetry Familiarity with tool and job site safety
Pay:
$27.50 - $35.00 per hour
