Job Description

Join Northland Cabinets, a leading manufacturer of high-end custom cabinetry. For more than 40 years, Northland Cabinets, a family run business, has built a reputation for craftsmanship, quality, and exceptional customer service. We specialize in designing and manufacturing custom cabinetry for residential spaces throughout the Twin Cities and beyond. Our team is at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking to grow that team with skilled and motivated Cabinet Makers to help produce, assemble, or prepare cabinetry components according to specifications and quality standards. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, offering weekly pay and benefits. Duties/Responsibilities Read and follow shop drawings, cut lists, and job specifications to accurately build cabinetry and cabinetry components. Set up and safely operate equipment such as saws, jointers, drills, sanders, clamps and other woodworking equipment. Measures and mark lumber accurately to minimize errors and reduce material waste. Assemble cabinet boxes, drawers, and face frames and other cabinetry components using provided materials. Prepare cabinetry for shipping by installing hardware, attaching doors and pullouts, and wrapping in protective materials to prevent damage during transport. Maintain quality standards of cabinetry produced. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure goals are met.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings. Ability to work effectively as a part of a team and communicate well with coworkers and other departments. Ability to use a variety of hand tools, saws, and woodworking equipment. Understanding of necessary mathematics. Ability to identify wood species and other wood materials. A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach. Understanding of frameless and framed cabinetry.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of 2 years cabinetry experience (5+ preferred) Cabinet manufacturing experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment drug screening. Pay:
$18.00 - $28.00 per hour
