Design, Structural Senior Miscellaneous Metals Detailer East Metro | Direct Hire | $35 - $42/hr Konik is partnering with a local miscellaneous metals fabrication firm seeking to add an experienced detailer to its team.
Senior Miscellaneous Metals Detailer Responsibilities:
Produce precise shop and field drawings for stairs, railings, and various miscellaneous metalponents, avoiding structural steel or high-volume weldments. Translate architectural and structural plans into fabrication-ready drawings with clear annotations. Visit job sites to take measurements and evaluate field conditions, ensuring designs align with real-world constraints. Partner with field crews and shop personnel to troubleshoot fabrication or installation challenges and implement solutions. Maintain orderly project documentation, including drawing files, revision histories, and fabrication records.
Senior Miscellaneous Metals Detailer Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years detailing miscellaneous metals formercial and architectural projects, with a strong track record in fabrication-ready drawings. Hands-on experience with aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steelponents and assemblies. Exposure to design-build workflows preferred, particularly in custom or one-off metal projects. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D shop and installation drawings. Comfortable converting, annotating, and managing PDFs and digital documentation on Windows-based systems. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and quality standards. Familiarity with 3D modeling software is advantageous but not required.
