Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing custom cabinets and furniture pieces with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to creating high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing cabinetry for a variety of residential and commercial projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your woodworking talent while working on diverse projects that challenge your skills and creativity. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinets and furniture using hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation. Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, and siding work as needed for cabinetry projects. Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate project timelines and material requirements. Handle heavy lifting safely during the transportation and installation of cabinetry components. Execute restoration projects involving water damage remediation, mold remediation, or structural repairs related to cabinetry. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure specifications are met with quality craftsmanship. Skills Extensive experience with woodworking, cabinet installation, and metal stud framing. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fabrication techniques. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, saws), power tools (e.g., drills, sanders), CNC machinery, and other fabrication equipment. Knowledge of construction estimating, drywall finishing (plastering), concrete forming, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and flooring installation is a plus. Familiarity with construction site experience including heavy lifting and safety protocols. Ability to perform caulking, stucco application, siding installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and remodeling tasks efficiently. Experience in restoration industry settings such as water damage or mold remediation enhances versatility. Strong understanding of schematics for metal stud framing or electrical systems related to cabinetry installations. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site during remodeling or renovation projects.
