Job Description

TC Glass in Great Falls, Montana is looking to hire entry level Construction Helpers...We will train for this position!! The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, be detail oriented, as well as have a positive attitude. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. Pay is Dependent on Experience! Typical Schedule is Monday - Friday (This can be varied depending on need) Overtime on an as needed basis
Duties Summary:
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements Safely operate various power and hand tools to prepare, cut and shape material according to measurement Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed Follow safety guidelines at all times Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time; must be capable of climbing, kneeling, twisting and bending in various environments; handle, feel and reach with hands/arms, as well as, frequently lift, push or pull or pull up to 70 pounds Must be willing to travel overnight/out of town as needed Work overtime as needed Any other related duties, as required and/or special projects as needed Skills and Abilities (Preferred, but not required): Proven experience in a construction related field (carpentry, general labor etc...) Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials Understanding of general construction techniques, to include methods of installing and securing materials within structures. Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, tape measure, rulers etc.) Ability to read technical documents and drawings Good understanding of basic math principles TC offers competitive benefits! 6 paid holidays, PTO, paid health insurance, HSA, & 401k matching.
