The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of carpentry, fabrication, and construction processes, with experience working on diverse projects such as remodeling, restoration, and custom woodworking. This role involves interpreting blueprints, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, and performing precise craftsmanship to deliver high-quality results. The Woodworker will play a vital part in supporting our mission to provide exceptional craftsmanship across residential, commercial, and restoration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other materials with precision Operate hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and drills safely and efficiently Use power tools including CNC machines, sanders, and nail guns to complete tasks Perform framing carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, door hanging, and siding work Assist with concrete forming, stucco application, roofing, and metal stud framing as needed Support restoration projects by performing water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, caulking, and rebar installation Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites or manufacturing areas Contribute to fabrication tasks involving schematics interpretation and assembly processes Support heavy lifting activities and assist with remodeling or renovation projects requiring precise craftsmanship Experience Proven experience in carpentry or woodworking within the construction or restoration industry Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, roofing, and siding Knowledge of various construction disciplines including plumbing, electrical work, masonry, tile laying, flooring installation, and metal stud framing Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing environments with adherence to safety protocols Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during material handling or project assembly Prior involvement in restoration projects such as water damage repair or mold remediation is advantageous Strong understanding of schematics for fixture installation or custom fabrication tasks Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to diverse project requirements Demonstrated ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting If you are passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills to dynamic construction projects while advancing your career in woodworking and restoration industries, we encourage you to apply today.
