  • Full-time Currently looking for Assembly Production Associates to join our growing team.
  • We are looking to fill 1st & 2nd shift positions
  • First shift hours are: 6am-4:30pm (Mon-Thurs) Friday is opportunity for overtime. 2nd shift hours are: 5pm-3:30am (Mon-Thurs) Friday is opportunity for overtime. The positions we have available are located in Lincolnton, NC. The pay rates vary based on the position and experience, they range from $15.50
  • $17.00. Fast paced assembly experiance required.
  • Assembly Workers are responsible for assembling cabinets using hands, air tools and hand tools
Responsibilities:
Comply with all safety processes and procedures Trim and glue joints and fit parts together to form sections of cabinet Place sections in clamps, apply pressure and reinforce joints with nails, dowels and screws Assemble sections to form completed cabinets Fit hinges, locks, catches, drawers and shelves Install completed products Comply with all safety processes and procedures for safe operation of the equipment Store merchandise in the designated location in a neat, orderly storage arrangement with accuracy Inspect merchandise for damaged material and/or packaging
Requirements:
Ability to work independently and in a team environment Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Simple tool usage Regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend and stoop throughout shift Maintain good housekeeping standards Consistently deliver the best in customer service. As an employee, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with customers, visitors and other employees Champion AWC's mission, vision and values; comply with the policies and procedures, ethical standards and code of conduct set forth by the company. Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment start up and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
