Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing custom cabinets and related fixtures in residential, commercial, or remodeling projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation is precise, secure, and aesthetically pleasing, contributing to the overall success of our construction endeavors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a variety of tools and techniques, and grow your skills within the construction industry. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed installation instructions to ensure accurate cabinet placement and alignment Watch instructional videos and be able to adapt to installation processes Measure spaces precisely and mark locations for cabinet installation using hand tools and power tools Install cabinets, countertops, fixtures, and trim with attention to detail, ensuring proper fit and finish Operate heavy equipment and scaffolding safely when required for high or complex installations Use construction management software such as Buildertrend for project documentation and communication Coordinate with project managers, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to facilitate seamless installation processes Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to verify adherence to safety standards and design specifications Perform related tasks such as caulking, sealing, sanding, painting touch-ups, and restoration work as needed to complete projects Requirements Proven experience in cabinet installation or related carpentry work within the construction industry Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, drills, chisels) and power tools (e.g., sanders, grinders) used in cabinetry work Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and heavy equipment operation when necessary Experience with construction management software such as Buildertrend is highly desirable Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, drywall finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry or roofing is a plus Ability to read technical schematics and interpret construction plans accurately Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on precision craftsmanship Valid driver's license with reliable transportation; ability to work on multiple sites across different locations Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills to exciting projects.
