is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Crate Maker / Carpenter to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with solid woodworking experience and an interest in fine art logistics. You will be responsible for designing and building custom crates and packing solutions to ensure the safe transport and storage of high-value artworks. Key Responsibilities

• Build custom crates and packing solutions for a wide range of artworks (paintings, sculptures, fragile objects)
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood structures with precision
• Select appropriate materials to ensure maximum protection during transport
• Work closely with art handlers to understand packing and transportation needs
• Follow industry standards and best practices for fine art crating
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean workshop environment
• Ensure all crates meet safety and quality requirements What We're Looking For
• 3-5 years of experience in carpentry, woodworking, or crate making
• Experience in fine art logistics, exhibition, or museum environments is a strong plus
• Strong knowledge of woodworking tools and materials
• Ability to read measurements, plans, and technical drawings
• High attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically capable (lifting materials and finished crates)
