Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Custom Cabinet and Woodwork Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in supporting the creation, installation, and restoration of high-quality wood products. This energetic position offers hands-on experience in woodworking, cabinetry, and various construction-related tasks. You'll work closely with skilled craftsmen to bring custom projects to life, ensuring precision and craftsmanship at every step. Duties Assist in measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing custom cabinets and woodwork according to project specifications and blueprints. Support fabrication processes including working with CNC machines, schematics, and metal stud framing. Handle a variety of hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as sanding, trimming, caulking, and fixture installation. Participate in construction site activities including framing, drywall installation, roofing, siding, and flooring. Aid in restoration projects involving water damage remediation, mold removal, plastering, stucco application, and masonry repairs. Contribute to the installation of doors, windows, cabinetry, and other fixtures while ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening. Assist with heavy lifting and material handling for manufacturing or remodeling projects while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and woodworking. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Experience with various construction disciplines such as trim carpentry, framing (including metal stud framing), concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, and drywall finishing. Familiarity with fabrication techniques including CNC machining and rebar installation. Strong understanding of restoration industry practices like water damage restoration and mold remediation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during fixture installation or remodeling tasks. Prior experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
